Judhur means جذور, roots.
Many children understand Arabic at home but cannot read or write it. Judhur starts from what they already know. They speak and understand, so the work goes straight to reading, writing and the formal language.
What students learn.
Start from strength
A placement check finds what each child already knows, and teaching starts there.
Reading fast
Letters and vowels at a quick pace, then into real texts.
Home dialect and Fus-ha
Home speech is valued, and the formal language is taught alongside it.
Write about home
Family, food, travel and memory, in a child's own words.
How it unfolds.
Letters and vowels, quickly, with words the child already knows.
Reading short texts and writing sentences.
Longer reading and a family project.
Placed by level.
A short check on day one puts each student in the right group.
Families stay in the picture.
You see exactly which skills are new and which your child brought from home.
- Offered classroom, after school, weekend school
- Taught by trained teachers, with Fajr's curriculum behind them

Layla's Arabic this week
Great rhythm. One more this week.
Read one page aloud for five minutes. Then say the letters ع غ ف (ayn, ghayn, fa) slowly together.
Bring Judhur to your students.
Tell us about your school or group, the ages you serve and the days that could work.
